Generate Free Blog Traffic Using Ping List Directory

Essentially what every blogger should do is send out a ping every time they’ve updated their blog with a new post to alert all the blog directories that there is new, fresh content on your blog. Most new bloggers could find this process daunting, but it doesn’t have to be, there are several websites out there, that will do the dirty work for you. These ping aggregators will send out a ping on behalf of your blog to several blog directories; here are the major ping aggregators: 

 

If you have a blog that is hosted on wordpress, this process is made even easier, you can either use the above named directories to send out your pings or you could edit the list of services your WP blog pings by editing your ping list.

 

However, a little caution must be applied when pinging using the list below, several of these services could be already be listed with the list mentioned above, services receiving duplicate pings could ban your IP address!.

 

Your best bet would be to decide whether to use the ping aggregators or the list below to send out a ping, and not both. Here is the list that you can insert into your wordpress blog:
